Eldon Student Designs Logo for Miss Missouri

Students in the Desktop Publishing class at the Eldon Career Center recently competed to redesign the logo for the Miss Missouri Scholarship Pageant. Twenty-seven students put forth their best design skills with the chance of winning a monetary prize and their design to be featured on the Miss Missouri website. Students used the skills they had developed in Adobe Photoshop to design the logos. Forty-eight designs were submitted and three finalists were chosen by the pageant board. The three finalists were Olivia Sparks, Austin Catron, and Brianna Archer. The winning logo was designed by Olivia Sparks. Miss Missouri Scholarship Pageant board member, Wendy White presented Olivia with a check for her wining logo. Olivia’s design can be found at http://www.missmissouri.org/.
