FBLA Attends Planning Meeting


Eldon FBLA attended District 2 Planning Meeting on September 8 at Fulton High School.  Chapter members were Nikki Green, Amber Bungart, Madasen Balch, Jessica Bungart, Kylie Jones and Sarah Hees. Advisers Shelly Henderson and Jerri Haley, along with student teacher Lyndsay Farley also attended. The district meeting was to inform chapters of changes that were made at the summer leadership conference and to plan the district conference in February.  After the meeting students participated in leadership training and advisers held a business meeting.

Mustang Minutes

Home Football Game Rescheduled

The varsity football game  vs California, scheduled for Friday, October 28  will be rescheduled for Thursday, October 27 .  The Game  will be played at Eldon and kickoff time will  remain at 7:00 p.m.

FFA Jr. Officer Interviews

On September 21st, the Eldon FFA held their annual Jr. Officer Interviews. All freshman and sophomore FFA members are eligible for a Junior Office. ECC SkillsUSA Chapter Sponsors Demolition Derby

The Eldon Career Center Chapter of SkillsUSA will be sponsoring the Turkey Festival Demolition Derby and Compact Figure 8 Scramble starting at 4:30pm on September 24th at the Miller County Fairgrounds in Eldon. Payouts will be award to the top four drivers. Please come out to support our students!

Health Occupation Students Donate

The Health Occupations SkillsUSA Chapter at Eldon Career Center donated school supplies to fill several book bags  for students at Eldon South Elementary and Dogwood PTO. Community service is one of six pieces highlighted in the SkillsUSA Program of Work.

Eldon JV and Freshman Take Wins at Hallsville

The Eldon JV and Freshman Football teams both came away with victories on Monday night.  The final scores were:

Junior Varsity – Eldon 16  Hallsville 0

Freshman – Eldon 20 Hallsville 6

The Varsity teams will match up at Hallsville on Friday, September 9th.
