Mustangs Selected to All District Golf Team!

Congratulations to the following Mustangs for being selected to the All-District Golf Team:  Braden Atkinson, Jon Helms, and Matt Hart. 
These students will be completing at the Sectional Tournament next Wednesday for a chance at playing in the state tournament.

Baseball Game Cancelled

The baseball game at home vs. Mack Creek that was scheduled for today, (Monday, 4/25/11) has been cancelled.

No School Friday & Monday

There is no school on Friday, April 22 and Monday, April 25.  School will not be in session for Good Friday and the Monday following Easter Sunday.

Fatima Track Meet Postponed

Tuesday’s track meet at Fatima has been postponed.  The meet has been rescheduled for tomorrow (4/20/11).

Eldon Speech and Debate Squad compete at MSHSSA State Tournament

Congratulations to the following Speech and Debate students that competed at the MSHSAA State Tourney at MU this past week end.

                Payton Atteberry – Prose Reading

                Tori Baigi – Humorous Interpretation

                Katie Whitney – Radio Speaking

Payton Atteberry broke a school record by placing 2^nd in Prose Reading.  Katie Whitney broke a school record by placing 6^th in Radio Speaking.  These records go back to the beginning of the program.

First Place Winners at State FFA Competition!

Congratulations to FFA for having two teams win 1^st place in the State FFA Competition!  The Agricultural Sales Team and the Parliamentary Procedure Team will once again be competing in Indianapolis in October!  FFA members and their chapter received many awards and honors at the State FFA Convention & Contests.

Eldon competes at Middle School Music Festival

On Saturday April 16 the EMS 7th and 8^th grade Bands participated in the Mid-Missouri Middle School Music Festival and earned the following ratings:

 The bands and their director would like to thank Mrs. Vernon, Ms Wyss and Mrs. Hanks for serving as chaperones and they would also like to thank the large number of parents who attended the event to support the bands!

Middle School Track Meet Rescheduled

The Middle School Track meet at Lebanon scheduled for Friday, April 15, 2011 has been rescheduled for Tuesday, May 3, 2011.
